Coldplay will head out
on their first North American tour in nearly three years in April. The
band announced the dates of their upcoming tour, which will kick off
April 17 in Edmonton, AB and end August 11 in St. Paul, MN, today. Additional tour dates will be announced in the next few weeks, but
already the trek is lengthy and includes two nights at Los Angeles’
Hollywood Bowl. If you have an American Express card you can buy tickets
starting Monday December 12, at 10 a.m. local. The general public will
be able to score tickets on Saturday December 17, at 10 a.m. local time.

also be part of the New Year’s celebration from “Austin City Limits,” a
live music television series. The first ever Austin City Limits New
Year’s Eve special will air on PBS stations nationwide on December 31 at
